400 Steps to Heaven

Story:

Ed is a foreman at States Electricity Department. 10 years back, his wife - Bella, fell sick so badly that she went bed-ridden for months. Ed used to take care of her along with going out on his work as he loved her the most in this whole world. Bella’s condition was going down each passing day and all the doctors had ran out of all possible cures. One night Ed felt that Bella stopped breathing. He started shaking her face and started shouting “wake up Bella!”. Next moment he noticed that a person with white hair and long white beard wearing white robe is floating about a feet above the ground next to her bed.Ed shouted : “Oh my God ! is it really You? You came here to take her away from me - forever!! No I won’t let that happen!” 

Ed cried out loud holding his wife and begged Him to let his wife stay with him. On Ed’s repeated requests, God made a promise to him. Ed can take his wife back from “Heaven” but for that, Ed must make it to “Heaven” without sacrificing his life. 

Ed : “I will do anything for my wife but God please tell me how is it possible for me to reach the Heaven when I’m alive?”

God: “It would be the most difficult journey that you have ever completed my child. You have to come across 400 steps to Heaven!”

Ed: “400 steps?”

God : “Yes my child. Steps to Heaven will start from the highest mountain from where you will not be able to see the land. You have to pass through 10 stages of your life to finally reach the Heaven. Once you’re there, you can take your wife back with you.”

After this conversation, God disappeared and so Ed’s wife.

Since 10 years, Ed was looking for the highest mountain from where he could find the Steps to Heaven but he did not succeed until this new year 2014!! He finally found the mountain from where the Steps to Heaven begins and it is now in your hands that Ed would reach the Heaven by crossing 400 steps to get his wife back!!
